In Scripture, God calls all His people to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  At St. Paul’s we offer a variety of educational programs for all ages and stages of life and schedules.  Adult Bible studies are offered on Sunday mornings during the Sunday school hour at 9:20 a.m. - 10:10 a.m.  Weekday classes are offered every Wednesday morning, and a special Brown Bag Lunch Bible study is held on the third Wednesday of each month.  Night classes are available every Monday and Thursday evening, and our new Women's Bible Breakfast study is offered once a month on Saturday mornings.

SATURDAY MORNING CLASSES

Women’s Bible Breakfast
Led by Ruth Colross.  A time for fellowship and sharing the blessings of God’s Word is offered every second Saturday of every month (mark your calendars for May 15, 2010)!   Light refreshments will be available starting at 9:30 a.m. The Book of Ruth will be the focus of study begining at 10:00 a.m. (class is approximately 1 hour).  Group meets in Room 206 of the Educational Wing.  Invite your friends and neighbors.  All are welcome!  If you have any questions, please call the school at 410-766-5790, or church office at 410-766-2283.  

 

 

SUNDAY MORNING CLASSES

 

New Members -  Adult Confirmation Class
Led by Pastor George and Pastor John.  Are you interested in becoming a member of St. Paul's but not a Lutheran?  Are you a Lutheran but would like to review the basics of faith?  Join us for an 8 to 10 week session of our New Member Class  begininng Sunday, April 18, 2010.  The class will meet in the church library from 9:20 a.m. to 10:10 a.m.  Bring your Bible and a friend!

 

“A Bible Study with No Answers!” 
This study of contemporary issues and the Christian response meets every Sunday at 9:20 a.m.—10:10 a.m. in the Friendship Hall (Low Ceiling Area).  Sometimes the answers are not in terms of right and wrong, but rather in how we, as Christians, respond in faith.

 

The Book of Psalms Bible Study 
Led by Bill Gibson and meets every Sunday during the Sunday school hour at 9:20 a.m.—10:10 a.m.  Class meets upstairs in the Education Wing.

 

 

WEEKDAY CLASSES

 

Ladies Wednesday Morning Bible Study
Led by Marilyn Spletzer.  Meets every Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. —10:30 a.m. in the Church Library.  Study will focus on the Women of the Bible.

 

Brown Bag Bible Study
Led by Pastor George.   Meets every third Wednesday of the month begining at 11:30 a.m. and meets in the church library.  Bring your lunch, Bible and a friend!  
 

 

Mommy and Me
Led by Renee Banner and meets every Wednesday morning at 9:45 a.m.—10:45 a.m. in the Church Nursery.  Bring your Bible and your little ones!

 

 

EVENING CLASSES
 

LifeLight:St. Peter's Epistles
Led by Pastor John, George Walls, Natalie Knowles and Roger Thusius.  Meets every Monday night at 7:30 p.m.—8:45 p.m. in the Friendship Hall.  Study will focus on St. Peter's Epistles.  Class runs through June 14, 2010.  

 

Leviticus - The Book of the Levites
Led by Pastor George and meets every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m.—8:45 p.m.  Class meets in the Friendship Hall (low-ceiling room next to the gym).   
Bring your Bible and a friend.  We meet in Friendship Hall.  Please note that there will be no Bible Study classes on Thursday evenings on July 8, 15, 22 or 29.  Class will resume on Thursday, August 5, 2010.
