MEMBER CARE
There are two ministries at St. Paul’s that support our member’s needs.
Pastoral Care Ministers
Pastoral Care Ministers work along-side the Pastor to visit the hospitalized and the homebound. They are trained and equipped to have devotions and prayers, as well as bring The Lord’s Supper to those who haven’t been physically able to come to worship. In addition, they provide the Pastor spiritual guidance, and make it a point to contact members who may have been absent from worship.
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is a internationally known ministry of care. Those trained to be Stephen Ministers receive fifty hours of training. They are equipped to walk with individuals through times of life transitions. These may include, loss of a loved one, a miscarriage, loss of a job, challenges of having an estranged child, relocations, and so much more. Stephen Ministers walk along side individuals by arranging a weekly meeting for as long as the person might be in need.
